Why we built this

The normal way to pay for a lab test is to have the test, wait, and find out later what it cost. The bill depends on your plan, your deductible, whether the lab was in network, and how the claim was coded. None of that is knowable at the moment you decide to get tested.

One decision, made in the right order

Cheetah Care puts the price first. You see what the test costs, you pay it, and then the order is created. That ordering is the whole design: an order that is already paid for cannot generate a surprise bill, cannot become a balance in collections, and cannot be denied by an insurer months after the fact.

It also removes the part clinics dislike most. A practice offering self-pay testing normally takes on the billing, the collection, and the write-offs. In this model there is nothing to collect, because the patient has already paid before the provider touches the order.

Built for the phone in your hand

The patient experience is a printed code and a web page. There is no app to install, no account to create, and no password to forget - because a person standing at a clinic front desk should not have to do onboarding.

Laboratory work

Cheetah Care is a service of HealthTrackRx, a clinical laboratory organization. Samples are processed in a certified laboratory and results are delivered to you and to the provider who ordered your test.

What this website does not do

This site is informational. It has no login, collects no health information, and carries no advertising trackers. It cannot start a test, take a payment, or show a result - those all live in the separate secure system you reach by scanning a code. We built it that way on purpose.
